KPK: 91% of corruption suspects handled are male
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) records that the majority of corruption offenders handled from 2004–2025 were male. “KPK enforcement data shows that from 2004-2025, there were 1,904 corruption offenders based on gender who have been handled, and 91% or 1,742 offenders were male,” said KPK Spokesperson Budi Prasetyo to journalists in Jakarta on Tuesday. He added that the remaining 162 offenders, or about nine percent, were female. According to him, case handling is conducted by unravelling all networks involved in corruption offences. “We invite the public to report if they find suspected corruption in their surroundings,” he said. Reports can be submitted through the KPK Whistleblower System (KWS) at kws.kpk.go.id, email at pengaduan@kpk.go.id, the call centre at 198, or directly at the KPK Merah Putih Building in Jakarta.
