The Indonesian Broadcasting Commission for the Special Region of Yogyakarta (KPID DIY) has opened the selection process for prospective members for the 2026–2029 term. What are the requirements?

According to the X account of the Yogyakarta Provincial Government’s public relations office, registration will be open from 14 September to 14 October 2026.

The selection stages comprise:

  • Administrative selection: 15 October to 4 November 2026.

  • Written competency test: 11 November 2026.

  • Psychological test: 17–18 November 2026.

  • Interview: 26–27 November 2026.

  • Fitness and propriacy test by the Regional House of Representatives (DPRD): 14–15 December 2026.

General Requirements:

  • Indonesian citizen who is devoted to Almighty God.

  • Loyal to Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia.

  • Holds a bachelor’s degree or possesses equivalent intellectual competence.

  • Physically and mentally healthy.

  • Dignified, honest, fair, and of good conduct.

  • Demonstrates concern, knowledge, and/or experience in the field of broadcasting.

  • Not directly or indirectly linked to mass media ownership.

  • Not a member of the legislative or judiciary.

  • Not a government official, or not concurrently serving as a government official at the time of inauguration.

  • Non-partisan.

Special Requirements:

  • Curriculum vitae (CV).

  • A mission and vision paper written in Times New Roman font size 12, 1.5 line spacing, 7–10 pages, on A4 paper.

  • A declaration letter stating no ties to political parties, no links to broadcasting institution ownership, not a government official, and not a member of the legislative or judiciary.

  • A letter of support from the community.

  • A certificate of physical and mental health issued by a government hospital.

  • A Police Clearance Certificate (SKCK) issued by the police.
