KPI Reveals Broadcasting Institutions as Medium for Women to Shine

KPI Central Commissioner Tulus Santoso stated that broadcasting institutions can serve as a medium for women to showcase their work. “So far, broadcasting spaces have been places for women to create and contribute to the nation,” said Tulus in Yogyakarta (21/4). He mentioned that they have seen many outstanding women performing. Even, broadcasting media have raised various gender issues that position women fairly and proportionally. “We continue to encourage broadcasting institutions to accommodate women for self-actualisation, spread ideas, and give them a stage,” he emphasised. Tulus, who is also the KPI Central commissioner for broadcast content supervision, stated that his institution has not only promoted gender equality issues but also protection for women.
