KPEI Appoints New Board of Directors for 2026-2030 Period
Jakarta (ANTARA) - Indonesia’s capital market Self-Regulatory Organization (SRO), PT Kliring Penjaminan Efek Indonesia (KPEI), has appointed a new board of directors for the 2026-2030 period during its Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (RUPST).
The appointment of the new board aligns with the strengthening of the company’s organisational structure to support increasingly complex business needs and service development.
“In the 2026-2030 management period, KPEI is expanding its organisational structure through the addition of new directorates and adjustments to the division of work functions,” said KPEI Corporate Secretary Lisda Sitohang in an official statement in Jakarta on Tuesday.
During the RUPST, shareholders agreed to appoint Antonius Herman Azwar as President Director, replacing Iding Pardi, who has been appointed as Development Director of PT Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI).
Shareholders also agreed to appoint Satya Birawa as Director of Clearing, Guarantee, and Supervision. Irmawati was appointed as Director of Information Technology and Project Management.
Furthermore, shareholders agreed to appoint Ignatius Denny Wicaksono as Director of Membership, Research, and Business Support.
Under the new leadership, Lisda confirmed that KPEI will maintain continuity and focus on becoming a key pillar in Indonesia’s financial market by adopting international standards and prioritising efficiency, reliability, security, and increased market confidence.
“KPEI as a CCP will transform from a Clearing Provider into a Central Clearing, Risk Management and Collateral Management Hub that integrates domestic, regional, and global financial markets,” said Lisda.
She continued that the company’s transformation will strengthen the foundation of the national financial market through cross-market connectivity and collateral optimisation, as well as more efficient risk management.
“This commitment is expected to increase liquidity and capital flows, as well as strengthen the stability and competitiveness of Indonesia’s financial market,” said Lisda.
