KPC Does Not Interfere in NU Mining Permit Issue
SANGATTA - The religious organisation Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) will receive an allocation of a Special Mining Business Permit Area (WIUPK) from the land reduction in the Coal Mining Business Agreement (PKP2B) owned by PT Kaltim Prima Coal (KPC). This news was conveyed by the Minister of Investment, who also serves as Head of the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM), Bahlil Lahadalia, during a press conference. When confirmed, the KPC management representative in Sangatta, I Wawan Setiawan, stated that the company does not intend to get involved in the issue regarding NU’s mining permit.
