KP2MI Secures 16th Unqualified Opinion, Proving Accountable Financial Management

The Ministry of Protection of Indonesian Migrant Workers (KP2MI) has received an Unqualified Opinion (WTP) for the 16th time from the Audit Board of Indonesia (BPK) for its financial management, covering the period from 2009 to 2025. Minister Mukhtarudin stated that this opinion proves the ministry’s financial management has been carried out accountably and presented fairly in accordance with government accounting standards. The achievement spans the entity’s history from its previous form as the Agency for the Protection of Indonesian Migrant Workers (BP2MI) to its current status as a ministry. Regarding budget realisation, Mukhtarudin reported that spending for the 2025 fiscal year reached Rp650.7 billion, equivalent to 94.66 percent of the allocated ceiling of Rp687.4 billion. Meanwhile, Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP) for the 2025 fiscal year was recorded at Rp7.82 billion, or 152.73 percent of the target. This figure represents a decrease from the 2024 PNBP realisation, which reached Rp9.8 billion, a decline attributed to a reduction in the quota for migrant worker placements in South Korea under the Government-to-Government (G-to-G) scheme. Following the report, Commission IX of the House of Representatives approved the financial statements and urged the ministry to follow up on all recommendations from the BPK audit.
