Kowani Congratulates Dudung Abdurachman on Appointment as Coordinating Minister for Political and Security Affairs
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Indonesian Women’s Congress (Kowani) has expressed its congratulations and wishes for success to Retired General TNI Dudung Abdurachman upon his inauguration as the Coordinating Minister for Political and Security Affairs (Menko Polkam).
“We pray that Mr Dudung Abdurachman is always granted health, strength, and smoothness in carrying out the responsibility of maintaining national unity and strengthening Indonesia’s political and security stability,” said the General Chairwoman of Kowani, Nannie Hadi Tjahjanto, in a statement in Jakarta on Friday.
The organisation also hopes that the mandate of this position will be carried out by Dudung Abdurachman with full integrity, wisdom, and dedication to the nation and the state.
Kowani views a safe, peaceful, and respectful living environment as an essential foundation for family resilience, women’s empowerment, and the development of the nation’s future generations.
In this spirit, the organisation hopes that the strengthening of political and security coordination will further support a sense of security for all members of society, including women, children, the elderly, and persons with disabilities.
“Open dialogue, respect for diversity, and community participation are essential elements in maintaining the unity and integrity of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI),” she said.
She added that women play a strategic role in building a culture of peace, instilling national values, strengthening social concern, and maintaining harmony within both families and the wider community.
This role must continue to find space within the collective effort to build a resilient and inclusive Indonesia.
“Congratulations on undertaking this mandate, Mr Dudung Abdurachman. May every step of your service bring benefits to the people and strengthen an Indonesia that is safe, peaceful, united, and dignified,” said Nannie Hadi Tjahjanto.
