Kostrad marks its 65th anniversary at the Madivif 1 Kostrad Headquarters, Cilodong

Depok, West Java — A number of soldiers of the Army’s Strategic Reserve Command (Kostrad) sang yel-yels during the 65th anniversary parade of Kostrad at the Infantry Division Headquarters (Madivif) 1 Kostrad, Cilodong, Depok, West Java, on Friday 6 March 2026. The anniversary, themed Kostrad Prima Untuk Indonesia Maju, served to reaffirm the unit’s readiness to remain a strategic force within the Indonesian Army to safeguard the nation’s sovereignty. The Commander of the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI), General Agus Subiyanto, inspected the troops during the parade. The anniversary emphasises the unity of Kostrad to continuously be prepared as a strategic power for defending Indonesia’s sovereignty.
