Koster Strengthens 3,535 PDIP Cadres in Badung to Energise Party Machine

The PDIP Badung Regency Branch Leadership Council (DPC) has begun energising its party machine. A total of 3,535 cadres from subsidiary branch offices (PAC), party units, and lower-level units across Badung Regency were formally inaugurated to strengthen grassroots support.

The inauguration was led directly by Bali PDIP Provincial Chairman Wayan Koster and accompanied by Badung PDIP Branch Chairman I Nyoman Giri Prasta at the Giri Nata Mandala Cultural Hall, Badung Regional Office, on Friday 13 March 2026. Also present were Badung DPC Secretary I Wayan Adi Arnawa and Treasurer Bagus Alit Sucipta.

“In total, 3,535 cadres were inaugurated today. These are the driving force of the party officially serving in the party structure to carry out party duties throughout Badung Regency,” Koster said following the event.

Koster stated that the inauguration of thousands of PDIP officials also aimed to consolidate the organisation. He commended the Badung DPC’s ability to mobilise thousands of officials down to the grassroots level, indicating that party management was operating well under Giri Prasta’s leadership.

“I would like to particularly express thanks to the Badung Branch Chairman, who also serves as Vice Governor of Bali, for having well-coordinated the party consolidation process,” added Koster, who is also Bali Governor.

Nevertheless, Koster reminded cadres that structural positions are not merely a formality. He called on party members in Badung to implement party programmes that directly address community interests.

“Moving forward, it is of course not only about formally holding a position in the party structure, but what matters is working for the people and implementing party programmes,” said Koster.

Badung PDIP Branch Chairman I Nyoman Giri Prasta called on all party cadres to close ranks and warned against internal party factionalism.

Giri Prasta encouraged the thousands of newly inaugurated cadres to immediately mobilise and demonstrate the party’s grand vision in the field. He asked that the spirit of Sukarno remain the foundation for their service.

“Remember that the aspirations and spirit of Sukarno are the guiding star for the Indonesian people and nation,” concluded Giri Prasta.
