The Corruption Eradication Corps (Kortastipidkor) of the Indonesian National Police has confirmed it will gradually hand over all investigative administration and evidence in the corruption case implicating former Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus), Febrie Adriansyah, to the Attorney General’s Office (AGO). This move follows the agreed transfer of case handling between the Police and the AGO, aiming to accelerate the investigation while ensuring the process adheres to legal provisions.

Head of Operations for Kortastipidkor, Commissioner Ahmad Yusuf Affandi, stated that the documents and evidence would be surrendered in stages to allow AGO investigators to follow up immediately. He confirmed that Febrie Adriansyah had been named a suspect prior to the transfer of the case to the AGO for further legal proceedings. Yusuf also called on the public to monitor the case until its conclusion.

The phased handover, which commenced on 11 July 2026, is part of an inter-agency coordination effort to prevent delays and ensure continuity in the investigation. A day earlier, the AGO formally received three graft cases from Kortastipidkor. Acting Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes, Rudi Margono, described the reception as a form of commitment to accelerate case resolution through professionalism and synergy.
