Kortastipidkor Explains Case Ensnaring Febrie Adriansyah

The Corruption Eradication Corps (Kortastipidkor) of the Indonesian National Police has explained that the case of alleged corruption in the coal sector, ASABRI, and Krakatau Steel has been transferred to the Attorney General’s Office. In this case, Kortastipidkor has named two suspects, namely former Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes Febrie Adriansyah and an individual identified as DR.

Kortastipidkor Chief Inspector General Totok Suharyanto stated that the investigation process included the examination of 15 witnesses and 2 experts, as well as searches at several locations. Following a case review, investigators named the two suspects.

Suspect DR is alleged to have committed money laundering originating from corruption. Meanwhile, suspect FA is implicated in alleged corruption and money laundering related to the handling of legal matters by a state official or organiser in the PT ASABRI case and other corruption cases.

Kabid Humas of the Metro Jaya Regional Police, Commissioner Budi Hermanto, previously emphasised that the investigation into the coal, ASABRI, and Krakatau Steel cases has the attention of President Prabowo. The investigation includes allegations of bribery, gratification, and money laundering, with searches conducted at various locations, including a café and a money changer, as part of the evidence-gathering process.
