Kortas Tipikor: Evidence Transfer in Febrie Adriansyah Case Conducted in Stages

The Police’s Corruption Eradication Corps (Kortas Tipikor) has confirmed that the transfer of the alleged corruption case involving suspects DR and Febrie Adriansyah (FA) to the Attorney General’s Office (Kejagung) is ongoing. The transfer is accompanied by the handover of investigative administration and evidence, which is being conducted in stages. Head of Operations for Kortas Tipikor, Commissioner Ahmad Yusuf Afandi, revealed that investigators have named two suspects in this case. They are DR, a private sector individual, and FA, the former Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes (JAM-Pidsus) at the Attorney General’s Office. For further legal proceedings, the case has now been officially transferred to the Adhyaksa Corps. “Kortas Tipikor has named DR and FA as suspects. The case has been transferred to the Attorney General’s Office for further investigation,” said Yusuf, as quoted on Sunday (12/7). Yusuf explained that the mechanism for handing over all investigative administration files along with evidence is not being done all at once, but rather in stages. This is done to fulfil legal procedures and ensure the technical transfer of the case is accountable. “In stages, all investigative administration and evidence will be handed over to the Attorney General’s Office for follow-up,” he stated. Kortas Tipikor also affirmed its commitment to closely monitor the development of this case together with the Attorney General’s Office until it reaches the courtroom. “Let us oversee this case until it is completed,” he concluded.
