The Corruption Eradication Corps (Kortas Tipidkor) of the Indonesian National Police officially handed over suspect Don Ritto along with all evidence from three corruption and money laundering cases to the Attorney General’s Office (Kejagung) on Friday. Wakakortas Tipidkor Polri, Brigadier General Boro Windu Danandito, stated that the transfer of electronic and non-electronic evidence, as well as the suspect, is a continuation of the case file submission conducted earlier. “The handling of this case was submitted by Kortas Tipidkor Polri to the Attorney General’s Office on Saturday, 11 July 2026. Today, the process continues with the handover of the suspect, electronic evidence, and non-electronic evidence,” Boro Windu said at the Attorney General’s Office in Jakarta. With the completion of this second phase of transfer, Boro Windu emphasised that all future legal steps are fully under the domain and authority of the Attorney General’s Office. He added that Kortas Tipidkor fully respects and supports the continuation of the legal process at the Kejagung and expressed appreciation for the solid inter-agency coordination during the joint investigation period. Don Ritto, a suspect in alleged corruption, money laundering, and bribery cases related to the coal cluster and ASABRI, was officially moved to the Kejagung in South Jakarta under tight security. Upon arrival at the Kejagung’s Bundar Building, he descended from a detention vehicle wearing an orange vest but remained silent as he walked past a crowd of journalists. The Kejagung has issued three new investigation warrants related to alleged corruption and money laundering cases implicating Febrie Adriansyah. The Head of the Attorney General’s Legal Information Centre, Anang Supriatna, explained that these new warrants are a follow-up to the transfer of case files previously handled by the National Police. The three major case clusters now ensnaring the former Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes include alleged corruption and money laundering at PT Krakatau Steel, a coal procurement case for PLN’s steam power plants that caused a mass blackout, and corruption and money laundering related to financial management at PT ASABRI.
