Korpasgat forces hone rapid reaction shooting skills to sharpen combat capabilities. ‘Training aims to enhance soldiers’ abilities, professionalism, and combat readiness for operational duties,’ said Korpasgat Public Affairs Chief Colonel Pas Jaito Novian Sulistiyono. An official press release stated the exercise took place at Yon Parako 482 Pasgat shooting range in Biak Numfor Regency, Papua, on Tuesday, 26 May. Jaito explained the training emphasised rapid reaction, shooting accuracy, positional movement, and inter-personnel coordination across various combat scenarios. With these skills, the forces can engage effectively in diverse terrains and conditions requiring swift movement. Additionally, Jaito added the training also develops teamwork among soldiers. He continued that all training activities were conducted with strict safety standards to ensure the safety of personnel. Consequently, the shooting exercises proceeded smoothly and safely, he assured. Jaito confirmed the training will continue to ensure troops possess optimal combat capabilities to fulfil national duties.
