Korlantas Polri Implements One-Way System from Brebes to Cikatama This Morning to Ease Return Traffic
Korlantas Polri has implemented the Precision One-Way Stage I traffic engineering starting this morning at 09:00 WIB. This step is taken to reduce the congestion in the return traffic still observed to be high on the Trans Java Toll Road towards Jakarta.
Korlantas Chief Irjen Agus Suryonugroho has reported the implementation plan to Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo. The Precision One-Way Stage I is applied from KM 263 Bulakamba (Brebes West) to KM 70 Cikampek Utama (Cikatama).
“By order of the Police Chief, today Friday 27 March 2026, Precision One-Way Stage I will be implemented starting at 09:00 WIB,” said Irjen Agus at the Command Center KM 29, West Java, on Friday (27/3/2026). Present at the location were Transport Minister Dudy Purwagandhi, Jasa Marga CEO Rivan A Purwantono, up to Jasa Raharja CEO Muhammad Awaluddin.
Also present were Director of Road Traffic from the Directorate General of Land Transportation of the Ministry of Transportation Rudi Irawan and Head of Operations of Korlantas Polri Kombes Aries Syahbudin.
The implementation of Precision One-Way Stage I was carried out after direct monitoring of traffic flow at the Command Center KM 29. This Korlantas Polri Command Center serves as an integrated technology-based control centre to monitor, analyse, and manage traffic flow in real-time.
Before the one-way lane is fully opened, Korlantas Polri personnel have carried out a series of sterilisation stages since 07:30 WIB. The clearance or lane cleaning process is done gradually from KM 70 Cikatama to KM 263 Bulakamba to ensure the safety of drivers from the opposite direction.
The opening of the one-way is done in stages to ‘drain’ congestion points around rest areas. Starting at 08:00 WIB, officers carried out lane cleaning from KM 70 to KM 132, followed by opening the flow to reduce congestion due to Rest Area 130B.
“The clearance implementation continues from KM 132 to KM 164 to drain congestion at Rest Area 164B. After the lane is declared safe and sterilisation reaches KM 263, Precision One-Way Stage I is officially started at 09:00 WIB,” explained Irjen Agus.
This traffic flow management is very focused on slowdown points at rest areas along the Cipali Toll to Brebes. The closure of connecting roads at KM 132 and KM 164 is done situationally to ensure vehicle flow from Central Java to Jakarta runs without obstacles.
The implementation of Precision One-Way is part of the Enhanced Routine Activities (KRYD) post-Operation Ketupat 2026 in accordance with the directives of Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo. Polri is committed to remaining on alert until 29 March to ensure the remaining return traffic, previously recorded at 36 percent, can return to the capital smoothly.
“A thorough lane check is carried out from KM 188 Palimanan to KM 263 Bulakamba. We ensure the lane is safe before the one-way is fully opened for public safety,” concluded the two-star general.
