Korlantas Polri Holds Joint Prayer Ahead of Operation Ketupat 2026
Bekasi District, West Java — The Traffic Police Corps (Korlantas) of the Indonesian National Police, together with key stakeholders, held a joint prayer ceremony on Thursday evening in preparation for Operation Ketupat 2026, which will run from 13 to 25 March 2026.
The prayer ceremony took place at the Command Center KM 29, Cikarang, Bekasi District, West Java.
Korlantas Chief Police General Agus Suryonugroho stated that the joint prayer was led by Transport Minister Dudy Purwagandhi. The ceremony served as an opportunity to strengthen coordination among all parties involved.
“All stakeholders have certainly taken steps and considered various scenarios to ensure that the state provides adequate support to guarantee that both the outbound and return journey of Eid travellers are safe and secure,” he said.
On the same occasion, Transport Minister Dudy Purwagandhi said that through the joint prayer, it is hoped that the 2026 Eid transportation operations will run smoothly, safely, and securely.
He urged travellers to always follow the guidance and instructions of officers on duty in the field and to plan their journeys carefully.
“So that in line with our hopes, our fellow citizens can return to their hometowns and make their Eid journeys home and back safely, smoothly, and securely,” he said.
Meanwhile, Jasa Marga Chief Executive Rivan Purwantoro, Toll Road Regulatory Agency (BPJT) Head Willan Oktavian, Jasa Raharja Chief Executive Muhammad Awaluddin, and PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry Chief Executive Heru Widodo stated that their preparations for Operation Ketupat are progressing well.
It is hoped that the 2026 Eid holiday exodus will proceed safely and smoothly.
