Korlantas Optimises ETLE Handheld to Strengthen Law Enforcement in Jabodetabek

Traffic violation enforcement activities were carried out by personnel from Si Gar Subdit Gakkum Ditlantas Polda Metro Jaya, along with Sat PJR, Sat Gatur, Sat Patwal, and various Satlantas units under Polda Metro Jaya, on Saturday (9/5/2026). The operation was conducted mobilely at several strategic points to increase public compliance with traffic rules while supporting a transparent and modern law enforcement system.

The activities covered the jurisdiction of Ditlantas Polda Metro Jaya, Satlantas DKI Jakarta, and Satlantas of supporting Polres areas. The field operations were controlled by Ipda Fauzi Tirta Kusuma.

The implementation of ETLE Handheld is a follow-up to the directives from Kakorlantas Polri Irjen Agus Suryonugroho in strengthening the digital transformation of services and law enforcement in the traffic sector. Korlantas Polri continues to promote the utilisation of technology as part of efforts to create a precise, professional, and accountable enforcement system.

Dirgakkum Korlantas Polri Brigjen Faizal stated that the use of ETLE Handheld in the field is one of the strategic steps in improving the effectiveness of electronic-based law enforcement. In addition to facilitating the identification of violations, the system also supports the acceleration of data validation up to the integrated sending of enforcement results to the back office.

During the activities, the ETLE Handheld device successfully captured 132 traffic violations. Of that number, 107 violations have been validated, and 100 violation data have been successfully sent to the back office system for further processing.

Through the strengthening of the ETLE Handheld system, Korlantas Polri hopes that public awareness of traffic compliance will continue to increase, thereby creating security, safety, order, and smooth traffic in urban areas and the capital’s supporting regions.
