Korean exporters to visit RI

JAKARTA: As many as 10 South Korean food and drink exporters
are to visit Indonesia to explore opportunities to sell their
products in the country.

They will display their products at an exhibition on June 28
at Hilton Hotel, according to a media statement.

The firms are KyoungNam trading, SengSeng Diet, Green
Catering, GC Farm, Samwon Industrial, Damao Farm, Sangmyung Food,
Traditional I-Re Food, Han Gru and Korea Damiri. -- JP

Avaya leads RI market by 55%

JAKARTA: Avaya Inc., a global provider of communications
networks and services for business, announced on Monday that it
had gained an Internet Protocol telephony market leadership
position in Indonesia and six other markets in Asia Pacific:
China, India, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand and the Philippines.

According to a report from market research agency Frost &
Sullivan, Avaya Indonesia gained a market share of 55 percent
last year, a 17.3 percent increase from 2002, thanks to its
global partnership with IBM, Extreme Networks and Polycom. --JP
