Korean dies in toll road accident

JAKARTA: A South Korean citizen, identified as Won Yuh Won,
45, was killed when his minivan crashed into a garbage truck on
the Cawang to Tanjung Priok toll road on Sunday morning.

A witness, Kuswanto, said that Won was driving his minivan at
breakneck speed and suddenly seemed to lose control of the
vehicle. The car later hit a garbage truck traveling at normal
speed in the right-hand lane.

The man died immediately in the accident, which occurred in
front of a campus in Kebon Nanas, East Jakarta. Neither the
garbage truck driver nor his assistants were reported as injured.

According to city police records, Won was registered as a
resident of Graha Cempaka Mas apartments, Central Jakarta. --JP
