Körber Supply Chain Announces Customer Partnership with HH Stainless Pte Ltd
Singapore, (ANTARA/PRNewswire) - Körber Supply Chain proudly announces a new customer partnership with HH Stainless Pte Ltd, an importer, exporter and supplier of stainless steel products in Singapore and Southeast Asia. The project strengthens Körber’s regional presence and reflects an unwavering commitment to deliver advanced warehouse automation solutions tailored to industrial customers. Founded in 1964, HH Stainless supplies stainless steel pipes, fittings, flanges, rods and plates, with an inventory of more than 12,000 tonnes and a range of value-added services.
Körber’s ASRS solutions enable HH Stainless to significantly reduce and save labour costs by shortening handling and travel distances while increasing picking efficiency. In addition, the vertical storage design maximises space utilisation through a small honeycomb-like structure, reducing space needs and enabling higher storage density at HH Stainless facilities.
The project involves the design and implementation of an Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS) for long-length stainless steel pipes at HH Stainless’ facility in Singapore. Körber’s solution is equipped with a stacker crane with a single-load handling device designed to handle long product storage cassettes and pipe products.
Additionally, integrated warehouse management and Körber’s K.OneX Warehouse Control Software will provide real-time visibility of inventory and system status, optimising storage and retrieval sequences, and improving inventory accuracy and traceability. After-sales support and local technical support from the Körber team in Singapore will ensure routine maintenance and long-term system reliability.
