JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com — Koordinator Badan Pekerja KontraS Dimas Bagus Arya believes that the transfer of the case files of four TNI soldiers suspected of throwing acid at KontraS Deputy Coordinator Andrie Yunus to the Military Audit Office does not necessarily mean the case will be fully resolved.

“I think our scepticism remains; we feel it won’t uncover the motive either. Because only the four field perpetrators have been brought in,” Dimas said when met at the National Human Rights Commission office in Menteng, Central Jakarta, on Saturday (11/4/2026).

“Without examining the structure of institutional relations, communication, or command within the TNI’s Strategic Intelligence Agency (BAIS),” he explained.

However, up to the transfer of the files to the Military Audit Office, according to him, there has been no release of the perpetrators’ faces or full identities of the suspects.

“Only initials, their units, and even their branch of service have never been released by the TNI Military Police Centre (Puspom),” Dimas stated.

“And there has been no examination of Andrie. Meaning, in our view, this incident is not only non-transparent but also unaccountable,” he added.

Previously, the TNI Military Police Centre (Puspom) handed over the case files of the four suspects to the Military Audit Office II-07 Jakarta on Tuesday (7/4/2026).

The transfer was carried out after Puspom TNI completed its investigation into the four BAIS TNI soldiers who became suspects in the acid attack on Andrie Yunus.

Next, the prosecutors at Military Audit Office II-07 Jakarta will review the completeness of the case files, both in terms of formal and material requirements. If deemed complete, the case files will be transferred to the Military Court II-08 Jakarta for trial proceedings.

The four suspects transferred are initialled NDP, SL, BHW, and ES, along with evidence.

“The tapping event ended around 23.00 WIB,” Dimas said.

After that, Andrie was attacked, screaming in pain and falling off his motorbike. Local residents then provided assistance, while the perpetrators fled towards Jalan Salemba Raya.

In a wounded condition, Andrie briefly returned to his residence before being taken to Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital (RSCM) in the early hours of Friday (13/3/2026).
