Jakarta – The PTIK Building in Jakarta witnessed the gathering of the extended family of the 1991 Police Academy Alumni Association Bhara Daksa during a joint breaking-of-fast event held on Monday, 2 March 2026.

The event, themed “United and Harmonious, Forever Blessed by All”, served not merely as a reunion but also as a platform for spiritual and mental strengthening of the alumni, both those still in active service and those who have retired.

A number of alumni attended the occasion, including Internal Affairs Commander Komjen Wahyu Widada, Criminal Investigation Chief Komjen Syahardiantono, Deputy Chief of Kapolri’s Operations Komjen Fadil Imran, Chairman of the 1991 Alumni Association Komjen Mohammad Iqbal, and dozens of alumni from the 1991 intake alongside their spouses. Also present was Vice-Chairman of the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) KH Marsudi Syuhud, who delivered a religious address before the breaking of fast.

Komjen Mohammad Iqbal, Chairman of the 1991 Police Academy Battalion, expressed his gratitude in his remarks for the successful organisation of this warm-hearted event.

Iqbal recalled the message of Kapolri Jenderal Listyo Sigit Prabowo delivered at a breaking-of-fast gathering with media personnel at Police Headquarters, emphasising the importance of maintaining silaturahmi, particularly during the blessed month of Ramadan.

He stressed that amidst the torrent of information and the potential for division triggered by negative content, genuine unity becomes the strongest fortress for an institution.

“The Kapolri reminded us all that maintaining the bonds of silaturahmi is the primary strength in preserving unity. This message is particularly relevant, especially during this blessed holy month. I invite all of you, regardless of your current position, to make silaturahmi a necessity for mutual strengthening. If we remain unified and care for one another, God willing, our institution will grow stronger in facing any dynamics,” Iqbal said.

Iqbal also called upon all 1991 Police Academy alumni to provide full support to Kapolri Jenderal Listyo Sigit Prabowo’s leadership amidst various emerging issues. He emphasised that generational unity is not merely a slogan but a foundation that must constantly be maintained, particularly when the institution faces trials.

“He is now leading in circumstances that are not easy, and our alumni are known as tough and cohesive. Our duty is to pray for him and provide positive support. This is not about who leads, but about how we all maintain our shared home,” Iqbal said.
