The management of PT Lunaria Annua Teknologi (KoinP2P), a subsidiary of the fintech platform PT Sejahtera Lunaria Annua (KoinWorks), states that the company’s operational activities and KoinP2P services to users continue to run normally. This is in line with the ongoing legal process. The operational activities in question include the collection process against borrowers.

KoinP2P will also adopt a cooperative stance in the investigation process regarding the alleged corruption case in lending that implicates three company executives. This was stated in an official statement quoted by Antara in Jakarta on Monday, 11 May 2026.

In the statement, KoinP2P management stated that it will follow and respect the ongoing legal process, upholding the principle of presumption of innocence.

The alleged legal violation case relates to one of the institutional funding cooperation schemes (channeling) with PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BRI.

“In that scheme, the funding process is carried out through a cooperation mechanism between the platform and BRI in accordance with each party’s roles in the applicable funding channelling cooperation relationship,” said KoinP2P management, quoted from a written statement.

The company is committed to respecting the current process and believes that all facts and each party’s roles in the funding channelling cooperation scheme can be explained more fully and transparently through the applicable legal mechanisms.

The same sentiment was expressed by BRI Corporate Secretary Dhanny. He previously stated that BRI is committed to being cooperative in the investigation process regarding the alleged corruption case in the distribution of financing at KoinWorks’ fintech subsidiary.

BRI will also respect the ongoing law enforcement process by the authorities. “The company will be cooperative and follow all processes in accordance with applicable provisions,” Dhanny said in Jakarta on Thursday, 7 May 2026.

He also assured that the company always prioritises principles of Good Corporate Governance (GCG), prudential banking, and risk management in carrying out every business process and operational activity.

Previously, the Jakarta High Prosecutor’s Office detained three suspects in the case of alleged corruption in the distribution of funds from one of the banks in Jakarta through the fintech KoinP2P. The detention was carried out since Wednesday last week, 6 May 2026, for up to twenty days ahead at Cipinang Detention Centre and Salemba Detention Centre.

The three suspects are BAA as Operational Director of KoinP2P from 2021 to the present, BH as President Director of KoinP2P for the period 2015-2022 and also Commissioner of KoinP2P since 2022 to the present, and JB as President Director of KoinP2P for the period 2024 to the present.

The Jakarta High Prosecutor’s Office stated that the three suspects are alleged to have colluded based on an unworthy analysis in submitting and distributing financing unlawfully from one of the banks in Jakarta to several customers.

Meanwhile, the Financial Services Authority (OJK) has also summoned the management and shareholders of KoinP2P to follow up on the case. Head of the OJK’s Surveillance and Integrated Financial Services Sector Policy Department Agus Firmansyah stated that this summons aims to affirm that responsibility for the continuity of KoinP2P’s business activities remains with the shareholders.
