Kohap's Indonesian plant

SEOUL (UPI): South Korea's Kohap Group will build a US$50-
million polyester fiber plant in Indonesia.

Monday's plans call for construction to start early next year
for completion by 1998.

Kohap spokesman Chun In-woo ("Chahn In-woo") says the plant
will produce 83 tons of polyester daily for PT Multikarsa
Investama (MKI) of Indonesia.

South Korea's 23rd largest conglomerate in net assets, Kohap
built a similar plant for MKI in 1995.
