Kogabwilhan III Seizes 47 Firearms and Uncovers Drug Cases in Papua

The Joint Regional Defence Command III (Kogabwilhan III) has recorded a number of operational achievements by the TNI task force during the first semester of 2026, including the seizure of 47 firearms and the uncovering of dozens of narcotics and illegal smuggling cases in Papua and Eastern Indonesia. Commander of Kogabwilhan III Lieutenant General Lucky Avianto stated that the integrated operations involved the TNI together with related agencies as part of efforts to maintain sovereignty while creating security stability.
