Kodim 0723/Klaten Establishes Lebaran Security Post at Gondang Rest Area

To support the smooth flow of Lebaran homecoming traffic in 2026, Kodim 0723/Klaten has established a security post (pospam) at the Gondang Rest Area in Klaten. The pospam on this strategic Jogja-Solo route focuses on providing services for Lebaran mudik travellers.

“The Kodim 0723/Klaten security post at Gondang Rest Area is focused on providing services to the public undertaking Lebaran homecoming journeys in 2026,” said Danramil 17/Karangdowo, Captain Arh Suparno, the duty officer, on Thursday (20/3).

The presence of the pospam at Gondang Rest Area is part of an integrated effort by authorities to maintain security, order, and comfort for homecomers. In addition to serving as a security point, the rest area also functions as a stopover for road users.

According to Captain Suparno, the pospam’s location on the main Jogja-Solo route demonstrates the TNI’s commitment to providing services to the public who need rest during their 2026 Lebaran homecoming journey.

“With the Gondang Rest Area, homecomers passing through the main Jogja-Solo route can utilise it to rest comfortably, while also enjoying the various facilities available,” said Captain Arh Suparno, the Duty Officer at Gondang Rest Area.

The facilities provided extend beyond mere rest areas and include supporting services, such as health checks for homecomers in need. This is to ensure that homecomers maintain peak physical condition during their journey.

On this occasion, Captain Suparno urged all homecoming travellers to prioritise road safety. Moreover, homecomers can utilise the security post if they experience fatigue or require assistance.

“We hope that with this security post, the 2026 Lebaran homecoming flow in Klaten Regency can proceed smoothly, safely, and orderly, while providing comfort to all members of the public passing through the Jogja–Solo route,” concluded Captain Suparno.
