Kodim 0503/JB Maps Locations for Roofing Programme in Kalianyar, Tambora

Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Jakarta Barat Military District Command (Kodim 0503/JB) is conducting mapping of sites for the roofing programme in the dense residential area of Kalianyar, Tambora.

Kodim 0503/JB Commander Colonel Cav Sigit Dharma Wiryawan stated that the mapping follows instructions from Danrem 052/Wkr Brigadier General TNI Faizal Rizal regarding the search for bridge construction sites as well as roofing for unfit homes.

The three-gold-lily-ranked officer mentioned that the instructions were conveyed during a video conference for the groundbreaking of the “Garuda Bridge Construction and Unfit Homes Roofing Programme” in Tigaraksa, Tangerang, on Wednesday.

“In his instructions, Danrem asked to continue searching for bridge sites and unfit homes that can be built,” said Sigit in Jakarta on Wednesday.

He stated that Danrem 052/Wkr will provide rewards if the work is completed earlier than the target implementation.

“If the work is completed faster than the initial estimate, rewards and appreciation will be given,” said Sigit.

Meanwhile, Kodim 0503/JB Commander attended the video conference together with representatives from the three pillars of Tambora Sub-district at Jalan Kalianyar RT.004/RW.007, Kalianyar Ward.

After the video conference, the activities continued with the distribution of basic food packages to residents by Kodim 0503/JB Commander.

State Secretary Minister (Mensesneg) Prasetyo Hadi stated that the government is still formulating the funding scheme for the programme together with several related ministries and institutions.

“Regarding the scheme, we also intend this as part of arousing so that all parties are ultimately involved,” said Prasetyo at the Presidential Palace Complex, Jakarta, on Tuesday (3/2).

He explained that the implementation of this roofing programme does not entirely depend on the State Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBN) or the Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBD).

According to him, the government wants individuals or private parties to participate in this programme.

“Perhaps individuals or private parties, so not just relying on APBN or APBD. Because the spirit is togetherness and beauty, cleanliness, which he as Head of State, Head of Government wants to arouse,” he clarified.
