Through this activity, it is hoped that communication and cooperation between Kodam XIII/Merdeka and SMA Taruna Nusantara will become increasingly solid in supporting the nurturing of the younger generation in North Sulawesi.

Manado — Kodam XIII/Merdeka, together with SMA Taruna Nusantara, is building a partnership to shape the character of youth in North Sulawesi Province (Sulut).

“This meeting is part of the effort to strengthen institutional relations,” said Pangdam XIII/Merdeka, Major General TNI Mirza Agus, when receiving the audience of the Head of SMA Taruna Nusantara, Brigadier General TNI Rhino C Tuwo, at Makodam XIII/Merdeka, Manado, on Thursday.

The Pangdam said this audience serves as a gathering for friendship as well as a channel to exchange information related to nurturing the younger generation, especially in shaping character, discipline, and the national spirit of the students in the future.

Pangdam XIII/Merdeka responded to the visit and appreciated the role of SMA Taruna Nusantara in preparing cadres of the nation who are of character.

Pangdam also emphasised the importance of collaboration between educational institutions and the TNI in building a resilient younger generation ready to face future challenges.

“Through this activity, it is hoped that communication and cooperation between Kodam XIII/Merdeka and SMA Taruna Nusantara will be increasingly solid in supporting the nurture of the younger generation in North Sulawesi,” the Pangdam said.

Head of SMA Taruna Nusantara, Brigadier General TNI Rhino C Tuwo, conveyed various education and training programmes planned to be implemented at the school located in Langowan, North Sulawesi.

“SMA Taruna Nusantara is committed to producing a younger generation that is outstanding, with a national outlook, and that possesses integrity and leadership that is strong,” he said.
