Ternate (ANTARA) - Kodam XV/Pattimura is intensifying the implementation of the TNI Manunggal Membangun Desa (TMMD) programme, the 128th edition, in East Gane sub-district, South Halmahera Regency, North Maluku, to accelerate infrastructure development and improve the welfare of the local community. Pangdam XV/Pattimura, Major General TNI Dodi Triwinarto, in South Halmahera on Sunday, stated that his side is ensuring all TMMD activities proceed on schedule and with quality through direct inspections at the locations. “We are present to ensure every physical target is carried out well, on time, and truly benefits the community,” said the Pangdam. “These facilities are basic elements to help the community live more decently so they can work or go to school and engage in other positive activities comfortably,” he added. According to him, the construction of footpaths is one of the priorities because they serve as vital access for community activities, including routes to the cemetery area in Waimili Village, which was previously difficult to reach. “I have directly seen all the targets being worked on. I appreciate the hard work of the personnel and the community who are working hand in hand. However, I remind them to continue optimising the work without reducing quality,” he said. He also expressed pride in the synergy between the TMMD Task Force personnel and the residents who are actively involved in every stage of the development. Through this programme, it is hoped that the development outcomes can provide long-term impacts, particularly in improving accessibility, environmental health, and the quality of life for the community in the East Gane area. “We hope this programme can be directly felt by the community,” he said.
