Ko Erwin, a Drug Kingpin Who Allegedly Paid Off a Former Police Chief in Bima, Now on the Wanted List!
The Directorate of Narcotics Criminal Investigation of the National Police has issued a wanted person (DPO) status for drug kingpin Erwin Iskandar, also known as Ko Erwin.
It is known that Ko Erwin allegedly paid a sum of money for protection to the former Police Chief of Bima City, AKBP Didik Putra Kuncoro, through the former Head of the Narcotics Unit of the Bima City Police, AKP Malaungi.
Brigadier General Eko Hadi Santoso, Head of the Narcotics Directorate, confirmed that Ko Erwin has been added to the DPO list. The designation of DPO is stated in the DPO letter 23/II/RES.4.2./2026/Dittipidnarkoba, which was signed on February 21, 2026.
“It is true that the Narcotics Directorate of the National Police has taken over the pursuit of the wanted person, Erwin,” said Eko in a written statement on Thursday, February 26, 2026.
In the DPO status letter, Ko Erwin is described as having a height of 167 cm, a weight of 85 kilograms, short, straight black hair, and a light brown skin tone.
Erwin is also said to have several residences scattered in the South Sulawesi and West Nusa Tenggara regions. He also has the real name Erwin Iskandar. (Z-10)
Anang said that so far, the Attorney General’s Office has not detected any parties helping Jurist Tan to escape. But, the fugitive could not possibly run alone.
The shares were instead transferred to Kariatun’s son, Jason Kariatun, without the approval of Andi Uci Abdul Hakim.
