Jakarta, VIVA – The name Josepha Alexandra or Ocha has recently become the focus of public attention after her action of protesting the judge’s decision in the MPR 4 Pillars Smart Competition went viral on social media. Her courage in expressing her opinion during the competition made many people admire the critical attitude of the student from SMAN 1 Pontianak.

Behind her image, which is now widely known as an intelligent and courageous student, Ocha has actually had an ambition that has been a focus since she was little. This was revealed directly by her father, Andre Kuncoro.

Andre said that since childhood, his daughter has had a great interest in the world of education. In fact, Ocha once aspired to become a lecturer.

“When she was little, Oca wanted to be a lecturer,” said her father, quoted from Instagram @kalbaronline on Sunday, May 17, 2026.

This desire apparently aligns with Ocha’s daily habit of being known for enjoying studying. According to Andre, his daughter spends more time at home with her laptop and books than playing outside like other children her age.

“Ocha’s hobby is studying in front of the laptop. Sometimes we as parents also worry if this child isn’t stressed,” said Andre.

Even though he was once worried, Andre said that this habit of studying has been part of his daughter’s daily life for a long time. He believes that Ocha actually enjoys the learning process as her own hobby.

“Ocha really likes it, and learning is indeed her hobby,” he continued.

In the midst of the viral moment of Ocha’s protest in the smart competition, the public also highlighted the way her father gave support to his daughter. Many netizens felt that Andre’s calm attitude and way of thinking helped shape Ocha’s character into a confident person who dares to voice her opinion.
