KM 57 of Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road Congested, Karawang Police Chief Monitors Eid Exodus Traffic Flow

Vehicle density at KM 57 of the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road has become a concern for Karawang Police Chief AKBP Fiki N. Ardiansyah. On Wednesday (18/3), the Police Chief directly intervened to regulate traffic flow while ensuring the situation at the location remained safe and conducive. The congestion intensified, particularly due to Eid travellers utilising facilities at KM 57. Police even temporarily closed the entry gate to the area because the vehicle volume had exceeded capacity; this measure aimed to prevent long queues as well as potential security disruptions and traffic flow issues. “We are present directly in the field to ensure traffic flow remains smooth and the public feels safe and comfortable during their journey,” stated AKBP Fiki. The Police Chief’s presence also demonstrates the Karawang Police’s commitment to providing maximum service to the public, especially toll road users during the mudik period. In addition to traffic regulation, officers provided advice to drivers to remain orderly, comply with instructions from officials, and pay attention to their physical condition while driving. Thanks to the swift and responsive actions from the Karawang Police ranks, traffic flow at KM 57 of the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road has begun to return to normal.
