The Klungkung Regency Government has once again maintained an Unqualified Opinion (WTP) from the Audit Board of Indonesia (BPK RI). This marks the 11th consecutive achievement for the Klungkung administration since 2015.

“The WTP opinion we have achieved again is not merely a routine or administrative formality. It is tangible evidence of our strong commitment to managing the regional budget (APBD) with honesty, transparency, and accountability,” stated the Regent of Klungking, I Made Satria, in a statement on Tuesday (9/6/2026).

The Audit Result Report (LHP) from BPK RI regarding the Financial Statements of Local Governments across Bali for the 2025 Fiscal Year was presented by the Head of the BPK Bali Provincial Representative, I Gusti Ngurah Satria Perwira, at the Main Session Room of the Bali Provincial DPRD Building, Denpasar, on Monday (8/6). The handover of the LHP was also attended by the Chairman of the Klungkung DPRD, Anak Agung Anom, and the Klungkung Regional Secretary, Anak Agung Lesmana. Also present were the Governor of Bali, Wayan Koster, along with regents and mayors from across Bali.

Satria expressed pride in the achievement but emphasised the need for continued vigilance regarding the WTP status. He noted that the WTP predicate should serve as motivation for the Klungkung Regency Government to continuously improve the quality of public services.

“Good financial governance is the primary foundation for accelerating regional development and increasing public welfare. Moving forward, we will strengthen internal controls and asset management innovation to ensure that development programmes are well-targeted and their impacts are felt by the community,” he added.

During the event, Satria expressed his gratitude for the guidance and direction provided by BPK RI. He also commended the various Regional Apparatus Organisations (OPD) of the Klungkung Regency Government and the Klungkung DPRD for their commitment to financial governance.

The leadership of BPK RI, Nyoman Adhi Suryadnyana, explained that the WTP opinion is granted based on four indicators: compliance with government accounting standards, adequacy of disclosures, compliance with regulations, and the effectiveness of internal controls.

“The audit is guided by state financial audit standards in accordance with BPK Regulation Number 1 of 2026. With the submission of this LHP, it is hoped that local government financial management will become more effective, efficient, and accountable,” said Adhi.
