KL's stance on Bosnia unchanged
KUALA LUMPUR (Reuter): Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir
Mohamad said yesterday his plan to defend Bosnian Moslems from
Serb aggression was unchanged, despite the resignation of the
Balkan state's prime minister.
"We support whoever represents the government of Bosnia,"
Mahathir said in response to questions on whether Malaysia's
stance on Bosnia would change with (Haris) Silajdzic's
resignation.
Silajdzic quit last Thursday during a Bosnian parliament
session without making his reasons public.
Mahathir was speaking to reporters after officiating at a
building ceremony at Malaysia's Petronas Twin Towers.
