Kleinwort-Mashill deal

JAKARTA (JP): Kleinwort Benson Securities of Britain has
agreed to strengthen the research activities of PT Mashill Jaya
Securities.

Mashill's president, Makki Widjaya, said on Saturday that the
British company would also cooperate in marketing activities
under the cooperation agreement signed last week.

Mashill, a member of the Jakarta and Surabaya stock exchanges,
is an affiliate of the publicly-listed Mashill Bank. Kleinwort,
one of securities companies listed on the London Stock Exchange,
is a member of the New York, Tokyo, Hong Kong and Paris stock
exchanges.(hen)
