The Klaten Resort Police held a community sports event at Klaten Square on Sunday (28/6/2026) to welcome the 80th Bhayangkara Day, which falls on 1 July 2026. The event was attended by thousands of residents from various areas in Klaten Regency. Klaten Police Chief AKB Moh Faruk Rozi, Acting Regional Secretary Jaka Purwanto, Commander of Military District 0723/Klaten Lieutenant Colonel Inf Slamet Hardianto, and representatives from Klaten’s Regional Apparatus Organisation were present. Prizes included one motorcycle, two electric bicycles, one television, one generator set, and hundreds of other electronic items such as 50 rice cookers, 50 blenders, 100 electric irons, and 100 tumblers. Faruk Rozi expressed his appreciation and thanks to the residents for their enthusiastic participation. He emphasised that this activity was a form of synergy between the police and the community. ‘This joint sports activity between the Klaten Police and the community is in the context of the 80th Bhayangkara Day on 1 July 2026. Thank you to the community for supporting this event,’ said Faruk Rozi.
