Klaten Damkar responded to a report of a cat’s head stuck in a car’s exhaust pipe at a house in Dukuh Gatak, Kemiri Village, Tulung Subdistrict, Klaten. The rescue operation took approximately 15 minutes.

Commander of Team 3 at Klaten Damkar, Tri Hatmoko, said: ‘We managed to free the head after about 15 minutes.’

Tri Hatmoko explained that the report came in at around 6:28 PM WIB, prompting the dispatch of personnel. According to the owner, the cat is a local Javanese breed.

‘The cat is a Javanese or local breed. Its head became stuck in the exhaust pipe of an old car while playing,’ Tri Hatmoko said.

The cat’s head could not be freed despite attempts to help, so the owner contacted Damkar. Upon arrival, firefighters cut the pipe to push the head out.

‘The owner contacted Damkar, and we went to the scene. We cut the pipe to make it shorter and push the head out,’ Tri said.
