Klaten Civil Registry Office Holds Public Consultation Forum on Service Standards
The Population and Civil Registration Office (Disdukcapil) of Klaten Regency, Central Java, held a public consultation forum (FKP) on service standards at the Disdukcapil Hall on Friday (26/6). The FKP activity was opened by the Secretary of Disdukcapil, Didik Setyabudi, accompanied by the Head of Civil Registration Services, Hidayani, and the Head of Population Registration Services, Didik Eko Saputro. The 2026 Disdukcapil FKP was attended by representatives from the General Elections Commission (KPU), the Ministry of Religious Affairs, the District Court, the Religious Court, regional apparatuses, academics, hospitals, disability associations, the media, and non-governmental organisations. Disdukcapil Secretary Didik Setyabudi stated that the purpose of holding the FKP is to obtain suggestions and input from the community for policy formulation and improvement. The legal basis for the FKP is the Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform Regulation Number 16 of 2017 concerning guidelines for organising FKPs within public service provider units. The benefits of the FKP include gathering suggestions and input from users of population administration services, as well as identifying problems in service delivery. ‘In addition, the FKP is held to unify perspectives in solving the problems faced, so that population administration services meet the community’s expectations,’ he explained. The Klaten Regency Disdukcapil serves the community by issuing family cards (KK) both offline and online, as well as electronic identity cards (KTP-el) offline and online.
