KL seeks help against United

KUALA LUMPUR (Reuters): Malaysia is considering boosting its
national squad with players from Saudi Arabia for a friendly
match against English champions Manchester United on July 22.

Ibrahim Saad, head of Malaysia's national team delegation, was
quoted in Monday's online edition of The Star newspaper as saying
Saudi players could improve the side.

The Saudis will be in south east Asia for games against
Malaysia and Singapore in preparation for the second phase of
Asia's World Cup qualifying tournament.

Manchester United is playing in Kuala Lumpur as part of a pre-
season tour of south east Asia. It is also due to play games in
Singapore on July 24 and Bangkok on July 29.
