KL palm oil futures trade lower at close

KUALA LUMPUR (Reuters): Malaysia's palm oil futures ended
lower on Monday, dragged down by losses in Chicago, good weather
and poor export figures, traders said.

The benchmark third-month February futures contract was down
11 ringgit at 844 ringgit (US$222.10) a ton after trading as high
as 848. Volume was 1,057 lots on long liquidation, compared with
1,144 lots at the close on Friday.

November (central) crude palm oil was offered at 805 ringgit
against bids of 795 ringgit. Trade was done at 800. November
(central) crude palm oil was offered at 805 against bids of 800
and trade at 805 to 807.50.

December (south) saw offers at 815 ringgit and bids at 810,
with trade reported at 805 to 812.50. December (central) was
offered at 815 ringgit against bids of 810. Trade was done at 810
to 815.

Among refined products, December RBD palm oil was offered at
$230 a ton FOB and January at $235.

There were offers for December RBD palm olein at $247.50 and
January at $252.50.

December RBD palm stearin was offered at $197.50 and December
palm fatty acid distillate was offered at $140.
