KL, Kyrgyzstan seal three pacts

KUALA LUMPUR (AFP): Malaysia and Kyrgyzstan sealed three pacts
on Friday to boost bilateral ties.

The pacts were signed during a visit here by Kyrgyz Prime
Minister Amangeldi Muraliev.

Muraliev and his Malaysian counterpart Mahathir Mohamad
witnessed the signing of agreements on air transportation,
cooperation in tourism and the avoidance of double taxation, the
national news agency Bernama said.

The two leaders also held talks on ways to strengthen
bilateral ties, Bernama said.

Muraliev was accorded a customary official welcome upon his
arrival here earlier on Friday for a six-day visit. He is
accompanied by a 35-member delegation, including Minister of
Foreign Affairs Imanaliev Muratbek.
