KKP to utilise village treasury land for thematic fish farming in Yogyakarta

The Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries (KKP) will launch a Thematic Aquaculture Programme in 64 kalurahan (villages) in the Special Region of Yogyakarta by utilising Tanah Kas Desa (TKD). Head of the Yogyakarta Marine and Fisheries Service, Hery Sulistio Hermawan, stated in Yogyakarta on Wednesday (5/8) that the programme, based on a Recirculating Aquaculture System (RAS), is prepared to increase fish production whilst supporting the protein needs of the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) Programme.
