KKP at Bandar Lampung City Police, Sespimen Analyzes Subsidised Fuel Misappropriation
Cadets from the 66th Dikreg of the Sekolah Staf dan Pimpinan Menengah (Sespimen) Polri, part of Training Group 14, held a Professional Practice Lecture (KKP) at Bandar Lampung City Police. Ten cadets discussed subsidised fuel misappropriation.
The event, held on Monday, 18 May 2026, was opened by Bandar Lampung City Police Chief Kombes Alfret Jacob Tilukay, accompanied by senior officials of the Police and cross-sector stakeholders.
In this KKP, Poklat 14 pursued a crucial mission: to conduct an in-depth analysis of the problem of subsidised BBM misuse. “This issue was chosen due to its direct impact on economic stability and the livelihoods of the wider public,” said one participant, Serdik Sespimen Dikreg ke-66 Dhanar Dhono Vernandhie, in a statement on Tuesday, 19 May.
The analysis was explored comprehensively through three policing enforcement and service instruments: pre-emptive measures, with education and appeals to the public and business operators to ensure subsidised BBM reaches the intended recipients; preventive measures, by optimising field supervision in collaboration with relevant agencies to narrow the space for misuse; and law enforcement as a firm response against those involved in hoarding or misusing subsidised BBM.
The mitigation success was based on strengthened close collaboration between the police and strategic stakeholders who attended the opening, including elements of the TNI, Bandar Lampung City Government, the Prosecutor’s Office, the District Court, religious leaders, community leaders, youth leaders, and other related agencies.
KKP activities began at 08:00 WIB with the deployment of personnel to Mapolresta Bandar Lampung, followed by an official welcome ceremony and initial briefing. In the afternoon, the cadets conducted intensive group discussions to determine interview targets to collect accurate on-site data.
The Poklat 14 participants were accompanied by three supervisors, namely Brigjen Muhammad Firman, Brigjen Hendra Kurniawan, and Kombes Yogi Ginanjar. Also present were accompanying officers (paping), including Kombes Guntur Hindarsyah and Kombes Purnama.
During the event, these ten Sespimen cadets also distributed basic food packages to an orphanage, demonstrating their tangible social concern.
