KKMM Grand Gathering: Mayor Siska Encourages the Spirit of Developing Kendari

Makassar (ANTARA) – The Mayor of Kendari, Siska Karina Imran, attended the grand gathering and breaking of the fast with the Kendari City Family Harmony and Mutual Cooperation (KKMM) in Makassar, South Sulawesi, on Saturday. In her address, she encouraged the people of Kendari, particularly those residing in Makassar, to continue fostering a spirit of togetherness and to actively participate in the development of their hometown. ‘We must maintain this spirit of kinship. Even though we are far from Kendari, our love and concern for our hometown must not fade,’ she stated. The Mayor emphasised that the city government is currently focusing on various infrastructure and public service improvements. She expressed hope that the Kendari diaspora in Makassar could contribute ideas and support to help realise a more advanced and prosperous Kendari. The event was filled with warmth and served as a platform for the community to strengthen ties with the city government.
