Furthermore, he stated that the crime scene processing has also been carried out together with the Yahukimo Police Resort. Faizal said the joint team is continuing intensive investigations to uncover the identities of the perpetrators and delve into the motives of the attack. “Officers have moved quickly to process the crime scene, search for clues and evidence in the field, and pursue the perpetrators. The investigation is still ongoing to ensure the perpetrators are quickly uncovered and can be prosecuted according to applicable law,” he said. Meanwhile, he explained, KKB used a modus operandi of quick attacks on civilians passing through the area. As a result, the incident caused security disturbances and anxiety among the community. “This is a serious act of violence targeting civilians suddenly. Public safety is the top priority, so every form of violence will be responded to quickly, measured, and professionally,” he said.
