KJP-KJMU Payment Delayed by 2 Days, Pramono's IG Account Flooded with Over 1,000 Comments
JAKARTA - Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung admitted that his personal Instagram account was temporarily flooded with hundreds to thousands of comments from residents. This occurred after the disbursement of the Kartu Jakarta Pintar (KJP) and Kartu Jakarta Mahasiswa Unggul (KJMU) experienced a delay. “Yesterday’s two-day delay for KJP and KJMU alone immediately resulted in over 1,000 people reporting it on my social media account,” Pramono said when met in the RPTRA Planet Senen area on Monday (4/5/2026). According to him, the issue has now been resolved. “Alhamdulillah, we resolved it immediately,” he stated. Pramono noted that problems in Jakarta are highly complex and now feel even more pronounced due to the development of social media. He explained that every report received, whether through the JAKI application or official channels of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, will be endeavoured to be handled promptly. He gave the example of the sinkhole incident on Jalan Gatot Subroto, which had gone viral on social media. At present, he said, repairs have been carried out and are still in the process of completion. Pramono Anung assured that the KJP and KJMU programmes will continue, even though the Dana Bagi Hasil (DBH) from the central government has been cut by up to Rp15 trillion. He believes that these educational programmes can help reduce disparities and break the chain of poverty.
