PT Natajaya BNH Indonesia, a manufacturing company engaged in glove production, has successfully obtained the KITE Pembebasan (Import Facility for Export Purposes – Exemption) facility from the Regional Office of Customs and Excise for Central Java and the Special Region of Yogyakarta on Tuesday (18/8/2026).

“The provision of customs facilities that support business development is a manifestation of the government’s commitment to encouraging the growth of export-oriented industries,” said Agus Yulianto, Head of the Central Java and Yogyakarta Customs Regional Office.

He also noted that the KITE Pembebasan facility represents a strategic step for PT Natajaya BNH Indonesia to increase its business capacity while expanding its export markets.

Previously, the company had utilised the KITE facility for Small and Medium Industries (KITE IKM). As its business developed and its net worth reached approximately Rp10 billion, PT Natajaya BNH Indonesia expanded its operations by switching to the KITE Pembebasan facility.

KITE Pembebasan is a customs facility providing exemption from import duties and non-collection of VAT and Sales Tax on Luxury Goods on imports of raw materials, including auxiliary materials and packaging materials, used in production processes where the finished products are intended for export. This facility is granted to manufacturing companies that meet the applicable requirements and provisions.

Agus explained that PT Natajaya BNH Indonesia currently has export markets in several countries, including France, Germany, Italy and Japan. With an increasingly broad market, the use of KITE Pembebasan is expected to provide greater room for the company to improve production efficiency and the competitiveness of its products in international markets.

The company’s development is also reflected in its continuously increasing investment plans. In 2026, PT Natajaya BNH Indonesia’s investment value is estimated to reach Rp32,250,761,211. This figure is projected to continue growing to reach Rp39,201,001,820 by 2030.

“Not only in terms of investment, the presence of the company, located in Bantul Regency, Yogyakarta, also contributes to labour absorption,” Agus added.

In 2026, PT Natajaya BNH Indonesia is estimated to employ 446 workers. This number is projected to increase to 653 people by 2030, in line with the company’s expansion and increased production capacity.

“This growth shows that customs facilities not only provide benefits in terms of smooth production and export processes, but can also serve as a catalyst for increased investment and job creation. This is in line with the role of the KITE facility in supporting export-oriented manufacturing industries to become more competitive in the global market,” he explained.

Agus affirmed that his office will continue to encourage facility recipients to utilise customs facilities optimally and responsibly.

The granting of the KITE Pembebasan facility to PT Natajaya BNH Indonesia is expected to be a momentum for the company to increase productivity, expand export markets, and provide an increasingly greater positive impact on the regional and national economy.

“With the transformation from a KITE IKM recipient to KITE Pembebasan, PT Natajaya BNH Indonesia’s journey illustrates how business development can proceed hand in hand with government policy support,” he concluded.

From gloves produced domestically, the company continues to advance towards the global market while opening opportunities for investment growth and job creation in Central Java.

The Central Java and Yogyakarta Customs Regional Office is committed to providing customs services and facilities that support the business world, strengthen domestic industry, and encourage Indonesian products to become more competitive in the global market.
