PT Korea Investment and Securities Indonesia (KISI) has recorded positive business growth throughout the first eight months of 2026. The number of KISI’s stock securities accounts reached 96,327 per the end of August 2026, an increase of 49.2% compared to the end of last year.

This growth is in line with the addition of new investors and the expansion of the bond business. From January to August 2026, KISI recorded 31,770 new securities account openings (OA).

This number of account openings is equivalent to 2.1% of the total addition of new stock investors in the Indonesian capital market, which reached approximately 1.53 million investors. KISI’s market share in the stock investor segment has reached 1%.

President Director of KISI, Kyoung Hun Nam, stated that the company continues to expand its domestic investor base while connecting Korean capital with Indonesia’s capital market and infrastructure projects. “KISI plays a role in expanding the Indonesian investor base while connecting Korean capital with Indonesian bonds and infrastructure,” Nam explained in an official statement on Wednesday (30/9/2026).

To support retail business growth, KISI is strengthening its iKISI application by introducing the AI Sentiment Score feature, which provides stock-related news and indicates sentiment trends based on available information. KISI is also developing bond transaction features to complete the range of investment instruments available on a single platform. Additionally, KISI has added 1t3 mutual fund products from PT Sucorinvest Asset Management.

With these additions, the total number of mutual fund products on iKISI has reached 91 products from 15 investment managers. This digital service development is progressing alongside the improvement of KISI’s operational performance.

In the first half of 2026, KISI’s brokerage commission income grew by 87% year-on-year. Meanwhile, interest income from financing increased by 39% compared to the same period the previous year.

Beyond the retail business, KISI relies on the investment banking segment to expand its revenue sources. Throughout 2025, KISI underwrote 51 bond issuances with a total value of Rp 3.38 trillion.

In February 2026, KISI also received the Best Local Currency Bond in Indonesia 2025 award from Alpha Southeast Asia. In the international debt market, KISI handled three Kimchi Bond issuances for a subsidiary of the APP Group. These three issuances took place in 2020, 2021, and 2023, with a total value of US$ 205 million. KISI is also involved in digital infrastructure development through its role as an investment advisor for a data centre project in Jakarta.

“The development of regional financing instruments through Regional Sukuk (Sukuk Daerah) is one form of KISI’s commitment to promoting financial inclusion,” said Kyoung Hun Nam.

Entering the second half of 2026, KISI targets the underwriting of corporate bonds and medium-term notes (MTN) worth approximately Rp 2 trillion gradually until the end of the year.
