Kira Souvenir: Functionality is Key When Selecting Seminar Kits
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The functionality of items should be a primary consideration for organisers when determining the contents of seminar kits, ensuring that the equipment provided to participants remains useful after the event concludes.
Agus Kurnessiawan, Director of Kira Souvenir, stated that items with daily utility, such as bags, water bottles, and notebooks, are more likely to be reused compared to supplies only needed during the activity.
“Many organisers choose contents based on what looks complete on a table, rather than what participants will actually take home. These two things are often different,” Agus said in a written statement from Surabaya on Wednesday (16/09/2026).
According to him, file folders and printed materials, whose use is directly tied to the event, have the potential to go unused once the programme ends. The quantity of items also needs careful consideration, as too many small items can lead to some equipment being left behind.
Agus noted that the contents of a seminar kit should be tailored to the nature of the event, the needs of the participants, and the total number of attendees. For internal events with fewer than 50 people, for instance, a combination of a bag, notebook, and stationery is considered sufficient for basic needs.
“Every institution has a different event character. We always invite clients to discuss the details before determining the package contents. This way, the seminar kit contents can be customised,” he added.
These considerations become increasingly relevant towards the end of the year, when socialisation activities, technical guidance, working meetings, and training sessions from both corporations and government agencies occur in close succession.
Kira Souvenir, a provider of corporate gifts and custom merchandise based in Surabaya, offers various seminar kit package options that can be adjusted to the type of activity and number of participants. These packages may include bags, notebooks, card holders, tumblers, mice, and stationery.
The company, operating under PT Kira Kreasi Warna Indonesia, handles orders starting from 10 units with a production time of three to nine working days. For urgent requirements, production can be completed within two working days, depending on the type and specifications of the order.
Kira Souvenir is also registered as a provider in the LKPP e-Catalogue and PaDi UMKM, and serves deliveries to various regions across Indonesia.
Previously, Kira Souvenir managed the procurement of seminar kits for the ‘Capacity Building for Business Actors in Goods and Services Procurement’ event, alongside the ‘E-Catalogue 6.0 Socialisation’, organised by the National Public Procurement Agency (LKPP) in Surabaya, which was attended by hundreds of MSMEs and village-owned enterprises.
A number of companies and institutions that have been clients of Kira Souvenir include PLN, Pertamina, Bank Indonesia, Telkom Indonesia, Pelindo, and the Ministry of Transportation. Kira Souvenir also provides free consultation and design services, including handling small minimum orders.
