Registrations for the KIP Kuliah 2026 programme have been underway since last February. The registration phase will close at the end of October 2026.

Requirements for KIP Kuliah 2026 Recipients
KIP Kuliah recipients are graduates of Senior High Schools (SMA), Vocational Senior High Schools (SMK), or equivalent forms who graduate in the current year or a maximum of 2 (two) years prior.
Have passed the new student admission selection through all entry pathways to Academic Higher Education Institutions or Vocational Higher Education Institutions, both public (PTN) and private (PTS), in programmes of study that are officially accredited and recorded in the National Higher Education Accreditation Agency system.
Have economic limitations or come from poor/vulnerable poor families and/or with special considerations, supported by valid document evidence.
Economic Requirements for KIP Kuliah 2026 Recipients
The economic requirements for KIP Kuliah recipients are students from poor/vulnerable poor families who have undergone verification by the higher education institution, with the order of priority for recipients as follows:
Holders or owners of Indonesia Smart Card (KIP) for Secondary Education who are recorded in the Integrated Social and Economic National Data (DTSEN) maximum in decile 4 and pass the National New Student Admission Selection (SNPMB) through the Performance-Based National Selection (SNBP) or Test-Based National Selection (SNBT) pathway.
Holders or owners of Indonesia Smart Card (KIP) for Secondary Education who are recorded in the Integrated Social and Economic National Data (DTSEN) maximum in decile 4 and pass the Independent Admission Selection to Higher Education Institutions at PTN and PTS.
Students who pass the admission selection to PT through all selection pathways at PTN and PTS, whether already recorded in DTSEN or not yet recorded in DTSEN but meet the poor/vulnerable poor requirements according to the provisions, proven by:
Proof of combined gross income of parents/guardians in one month below the Provincial Minimum Wage (UMP) of the student’s home domicile.
Proof of poor family in the form of a Certificate of Inability (SKTM) issued and legalised by the government, minimum at the village/sub-district level, to state the condition of a family included in the poor or unable category, accompanied by supporting evidence such as electricity bill accounts and house photos. All documents and evidence will be verified and validated by the Higher Education Institution.
